The pandemic has exposed the daunting deficiencies of public health systems in many countries. It threatens devastating economic wreckage as factories and businesses, global supply chains, and stock markets collapse under its unpredictable routes. This is happening on the verge of the AfCFTA commencement date of July 1, 2020.
