Policy Services

Trade has wide economic and social impact on development, but with good understanding of international trade policies it can be the beckon of international development across the globe.

Africa International Trade and Commerce Research (AITCR), works on diverse trade policy projects; by offering services to governments and institutions on international trade issues that matters to them. AITCR  approach is to find long-term solution that squarely addresses project objective within the target mandate; whether the client is government, private sector or international development partner.

We are enthusiastic about our international trade policy service which covers Aid to trade, Africa Free Trade strategy, AfCFTA, poverty reduction, policy review, gender and trade, trade competitiveness,  regional trade, trade facilitation and bilateral and multilateral agreement vetting, trade in services, digital economy, trade logistics, migration, customs tariff and international trade programmes.

Our objective is to offer policy advisory services that would ensure Africa is open to trade with Africa and the rest of the world, in a mutual benefiting environment, which in effect support and accelerate economic development and growth.  AITCR believes the more Africans freely trade with Africans the more positive innovation and idea will be generated for the benefit of the world.
