Description of Service Provided

MacArthur Foundation, in partnership with Wadata Communications, seeks to strengthen community partnership and involvement in anti-corruption through investigative journalism with the aim of training selected journalists to produce investigative reports and broadcast same on the selected radio stations in seven languages (Fulfulde, Hausa, Igbo, Kanuri, Nupe, Yoruba, and also Pidgin English) to targeted citizens from six geo-political zones in Nigeria. In view of the task ahead, Wadata communication with support from MacArthur has commissioned us to conduct a baseline survey on citizens’ level of involvement in the fight against corruption.

 

AIM & OBJECTIVES

This baseline survey aims to provide valid and reliable data (quantitative) to assess the level of citizens’ awareness and participation in the fight against corruption from the 6 geo-political zones of Nigeria through the listenership of specific radio stations. The main objectives of the baseline survey are threefold:

1.           To assess the level of Public Awareness on Anti-Corruption issues in Nigeria.

2.           To assess Public Perception regarding the Current Anti-Corruption Efforts in Nigeria.

3.           To assess the level of Public Participation in the demand for Accountability & Anti-Corruption
