- Evaluate and measure assigned supplier performance to ensure performance meets expectations, including lead time, warehouse receipt requirements, and mode of transport, location, quality of product and contract commitment.
- Develop suppliers by maintaining strong, effective supply chain, and continued relationships with suppliers through supplier evaluations / scorecards, site visits and understanding their operations.
- Complete supplier selection, information on global supplier entrants and market changes, and bid evaluation processes on assigned accounts when needed.
- Utilize e-Sourcing solutions to aid in supplier selection and strategic sourcing efforts.
- Complete contract negotiations and on-going price reduction efforts driven by total cost evaluations.
