Meet Sand, an International Trade Expert with over 15 years of professional experience in the field. He has worked in complex multicultural environments, specializing in International Trade and Investment. Sand is the Executive Director at Africa International Trade & Commerce Research (AITCR) and has played a key role in Business Development, Consultancy, Research, Policy design and formulation for clients across Africa. One of his research papers was presented at a PUBLIC HEARING in the European Parliament in Brussels to the Committee on International Trade, themed; Africa Rising? Trade policy responses to sustainable growth challenges: Trade and investment as enablers of economic transformation of Sub-Saharan Africa. Sand has previously worked with several reputable organizations, such as Export Connection, United Kingdom; Knowledge Edge Education Management, United Kingdom; Industrial Trust, United Kingdom; CRED Foundation, United Kingdom; and NOIPOLLS, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor’s in International Trade and a Master’s in Business & Management, both from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom. Currently, Sand is a PhD student at the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, where he continues to pursue his passion for International Trade.

He also holds Certificate in Professional Consultancy, Value Management, Certificate in Management Consulting Essential (CMCE), and has attended several professional development courses with International Trade Centre (ITC), World Trade Organization (WTO), World Bank, and Future Learning, UK. He is also a professional member, of Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Consulting, United Kingdom, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Committee, Industry Trade group, Trade Technical Working Committee of NASSBER, and Nigeria Trade Experts Group. He is an enthusiast of the Formula 1 Motor Sport.
